Description
In this one day class based in my garden studio you will learn how to apply enamel onto copper. Enamelling is the process of applying powdered glass to metal and then firing in a table top kiln. I will cover techniques such as sifting, wet-packing, applying media for beginners. If you’ve already attended a class I also offer other techniques such as swirling, wire work, sgraffito, painting with enamel and so on so please choose one of those options from the booking menu. Week day classes run from 9.30/10 – 2.45pm and weekend classes run from 10 – 3.30pm. I’m tweaking how I offer these classes and am hoping to shorten the length of the class by offering more focussed sessions – some of these are already planned at EJart Creative this year but I also hope to offer these in my garden studio.
Expect to make around 3 enamelled pieces which make fabulous jewellery.

COST
My home workshop only fits up to 3 people, which means any course booked will not be cancelled due to low numbers.
Dates to suit, so if none are shown select gift voucher and I will be in touch to organise a date to suit.
The course price shown is for ONE to ONE classes. (If another person wants to book the same date as you, I will get in touch to discuss this.)
If you are booking for 2/3 people the course fee will be reduced per person. 2 people will be £99 each and 3 people would be £89 each.
Class runs from 10 – 3pm. Classes take place in Colchester, Essex.

I have attended a couple of enamelling days at Toni’s; have learnt a lot on both days and taken home some good work. Toni’ is a very good tutor and she keeps it fun and interesting as well as teaching you the serious health and safety parts. Toni, has a knack of making you feel relaxed and welcome from the start, whatever your ability. very enjoyable will definitely being attending again.
