Description
In this one day class you will learn how to set a piece of seaglass into silver clay. We will make a base and set some bezel wire into the piece and then once fired the seaglass can be secured into the bezel. This is a class where silver clay meets traditional silversmithing in a perfect partnership.
IIf you’ve never tried this medium it is the quickest way to achieve fine silver jewellery and the feel of it is pure alchemy. If you are into eco crafts, you could argue this is perfect as the silver is recycled from the car manufacturing industry.
Choose a class date or gift voucher option from the drop down menu when booking. Gift vouchers allow you,or the person you are buying for to book dates to suit. Price per person is reduced the more people that come. Contact me for more details about this.
COST
My home workshop only fits up to 3 people, which means any course booked will not be cancelled due to low numbers.
Dates to suit, so if none are shown select gift voucher and I will be in touch to organise a date to suit.
The course price shown is for ONE to ONE classes. (If another person wants to book the same date as you, I will get in touch to discuss this.)
If you are booking for 2/3 people the course fee will be reduced per person. 2 people will be £125 each and 3 people would be £99 each.
Class runs from 10 – 3pm. Classes take place in Colchester, Essex.
All materials included but please bring your lunch.
