Achievements
I’ve been running the business for over 15 years, in which time I have gained the Education and Training award level 3 (the former pttls course)
I have just completed the Mitsubishi Camp PMC 101 qualification
Mitsubishi PMC Certification levels 1 and 2
As well as teaching small classes here in Colchester. I also work with organisations such as the Field Studies Council as well as teaching for well respected galleries such as EJArt Creative and Watershed Studios.
I am happy to work with groups and schools and am always willing to discuss this further. Currently I am working with Bright Lives CIC and Tapestry Care UK ltd.
I design and deliver various courses covering the following crafts:
Enamelling – fusing glass to metal, usually to make jewellery
Encaustic art – painting with molten wax, which creates vivid, textured abstracts and landscapes
Felt making – needle and wet, make bags, animals, pictures by producing your own felt from wool tops
Flamework – making glass beads, also known as lampwork
Silver clay – pure silver once fired, create fabulous jewellery

Hello
I’m
Looking for someone to run a crafting area at a living history festival this summer in Colchester (possibly two festivals) with the potential to develop ideas for this as well as realise existing ones.
I’d prefer to talk in person – my numbers are 07957 518875 or 01206 822684.
Thanks
Jessie Chapman
