Enamelled Jewellery Beginners – 3 week class (Tuesdays 10 – 1pm)

Description

This is a 3 hour per week class running over 3 weeks and is  based in my garden studio in Colchester.

You will learn how to apply enamel onto copper. Enamelling is the process of applying powdered glass to metal and then firing in a table top kiln. I will cover techniques such as sifting, wet-packing, applying media for beginners. If you’ve already attended a class I also offer other techniques such as swirling, wire work, sgraffito, painting with enamel and so on so please choose one of those options from the booking menu.  Week day classes run from 10 – 1pm but can be tweaked if needed – just get in touch. I have worked out the price to accomodate up to 3 people so there will not be a discount on this class.

Expect to make around 3 enamelled pieces over the 3 weeks but you may make more.

COST

My home workshop only fits up to 3 people, which means any course booked will not be cancelled due to low numbers, there is no discount on this course I’m afraid as I need to make it cost effective to run.

I will add more dates depending on popularity of class – so do get in touch if the day/time/date doesn’t work.

Class runs from 10 –1pm. Classes take place in Colchester, Essex.
