Half way through my third summer school here at Curly Girly Crafts HQ. So far I have run 2 Encaustic art classes, one Needlefelting and one Flamework. Silver Clay tomorrow, I cannot wait to see what they make…just time to have a wee think about what I might do…Christmas earrings come to mind for some reason!
Whilst I relax here in (I’d like to say sunny) Norfolk – on cat sitting duty whilst catching up with good friends – I thought I’d just remind you about the summer school dates here at Curly Girly Crafts, which takes place next week. Encaustic art and Silver http://quotecorner.com/alprazolam.html Clay are now sold out – I have now added a new Silver Clay date for Saturday 4th November – but there are still spaces for Flamework, Needle felting and Enamelling – get in touch if you’d like to book. Reminder over, time to get back to the glass of wine and chocolate now. 🙂
The last couple of weeks have been consumed with tennis in my household and a few little bits in between including two sports days at school (at least I’ll only have to do the Mum’s race once next year!)
I’m now tackling the garden before my silver clay students arrive next week and have to fight through the Forbidden Forest to get to the workshop!
Thought I’d share my glass fish beads that I made recently – any thoughts on what to make with them?
This is the 3rd Summer school here at CG Crafts, inspired by a lovely American lady (Annette) who came over to the U.K and asked to do all of my classes, if I could fit her in! The rest is history.

Once again I have had a busy few weeks in my craft workshop, the most popular class at the moment seems to be silver clay – which is fab as I get to make pieces along with my students and so have had the opportunity to build my skills and try out new things – mainly inspired by the new Sue Heaser book on charms, which is on offer at the Works at the moment. I love Sue Heaser books, she is my silver clay inspiration! I have also run several enamelling classes and even a combination of the two at FSC Flatford Mill, which is always a fabulous weekend combining crafts, cake and lovely Constable landscapes – it was even Constables birthday so we had a brass band accompaniment! Anyway enough chat for now I will add some photos of work done in classes and later this week I will post up the summer school dates which are booking fast! Happy Crafting in the sunshine today. #Craftclasseswith Toni #Learnsomethingnew #Learnmagicalsilverclay #Creatingenamelledjewellery
So another busy week here at Curly Girly Crafts, having made 2 birthday cakes for one of my daughers last week (yes only one of them had a birthday) I am now back to getting some admin done. I have confirmed some new dates with Abberton Reservoir and The Naze (both EWT) so do take a look at new dates, I have also added some CG Crafts dates. Now I working on examples for my fish bead/sculptural animals class. If you are interested in any of my classes, which can be tailored to suit, just email me.
It has been another couple of busy months here at Curly Girly Crafts, which has been fabulous. I love the variety of the crafts that I teach and you’ve all kept me on my toes – I have run a variety of classes from encased Flamework beads to teaching a lovely couple (Lucy and Sam) how to make their own silver wedding rings using PMC3 – I think you’ll agree they http://www.honeytraveler.com/buy-diflucan/ made an excellent job. Enamelling has once again proved very popular, Kim bought her husband along on the weekend and results were brilliant. I look forward to sharing more student work soon. If you are interested in any of these classes please get in touch.

It has been so lovely to get through the cold months by sharing my craft experience with so many students. I was delighted to see the monotones in the teardrop enamelled pieces and some of the textures created on the silver clay were amazing. Speaking of texture, we had great fun making felt at Abberton Reservoir on Saturday – some tea cosies, I pad covers and even little friends were made.
Finally today I had the chance to be a little creative myself, using the fabulous ‘Passing the Flame’ as inspiration I made this little fish bead out of glass. Now back to my creative writing class before school pickup, filming my daughter for the Beano and getting ready for the next classes coming up!
Just preparing for this week’s needlefelting class when I happened to glance at the calendar. I have 7 confirmed classes this month, including every one of the different classes I teach – Enamelling, Feltmaking, Flamework, Encaustic Art and Silver Clay, I am so chuffed with this. Speaking of which, I must get back to the workshop I have a whole https://laparkan.com/buy-accutane/ pile of Merino wool tops lying in a pile and they won’t sort themselves. If you are interested in any of my classes email me for dates to suit, they are great value and there’s plenty of tutor time, plus a good deal of putting the world to rights, tea and biscuits too!
